Event Description:
The Forney Arts Council, a non-profit organization, welcomes you to join us at the opening art reception for the 2025 Summer Art Show at "The Gallery" located inside the Forney ISD Opportunity Central facility. Light refreshments will be provided. RSVP for free tickets at www.theforneyartscouncil.org/events
Join us in an exploration of the travel journeys of participating artists, discovering what compelled them to break from their usual lives, learning what the experience meant to them and enjoy the opportunity to view the place and time captured by the artists in their chosen artworks.
This is an open art show, meaning that the call-for-artists went out to artists and arts organizations throughout the metroplex, and participation was not limited to FAC member artists. Two dozen artists will be represented in the show.
